Abstract

Technological advancements have encouraged innovations in biometric-based security systems. This study aims to design a security system for retrieving high-value items using Face ID technology based on ESP32-CAM, integrated with RTC module and Blynk IoT platform. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. The system performs face recognition for authentication, records user activity logs automatically, and sends real-time notifications through Blynk Cloud. Testing results show good accuracy in face verification and fast, reliable notification response. This system improves security and accountability in handling high-value item retrieval at SPX Express Cimarga Hub Lebak Banten.
