PERANCANGAN SISTEM KEAMANAN SMART HOME MENGGUNAKAN ANDROID DENGAN METODE WATERFALL PADA UPT PUSKESMAS PERDANA

Security in healthcare facilities requires reliable and efficient monitoring. This study designs and implements an IoT-based smart home security system for the medicine storage room at UPT Puskesmas Perdana. The system uses ESP32 as the main controller, ESP32-CAM for capturing images, flame sensors, PIR motion detectors, and LM35 temperature sensors. An Android-based application (FirePanel) provides monitoring, notifications, and device control in real time via a local hotspot. The development follows the Waterfall methodology, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Laboratory tests show that all features—fire detection, motion detection, temperature threshold control, real-time notifications, and camera snapshots—worked as expected. The system improves monitoring accuracy and response time compared to conventional security methods. This research highlights the potential of IoT-based solutions to strengthen healthcare facility security and can be extended with remote notifications and access control in future development.
