Rencana Pengembangan Kawasan Strategis Provinsi Kawasan Bendungan Karian di Provinsi Banten

Abstract

The development of the Provincial Strategic Area (KSP) is the province's hope to encourage growth or maintain sustainability so that the strategic value of the area provides benefits to the people of Banten Province. The Karian Dam as a central mandate in the National Strategic Project to the Province is directed as a source of raw water for domestic-regional needs. In addition to being raw water, the Karian Dam is a key element in flood risk management, irrigation, and power generation. Development plans related to the complexity of the KSP environmental challenges require a clear regulatory framework. Development regulations can be realized through the Action Plan and supported by the Program Plan Policy on the environmental aspect. There are 19 programs, 33 activities, and 71 sub-activities from the action plan. The KRP consists of 7 (seven) consisting of Improvement of Primary and Secondary Local Roads; Realization of Dam Boundary Zones; Realization of Limited Production Forest Areas; and so on. The development plan and realization (environment) are intended to provide a legal basis in a solid and structured Governor's Regulation for the management, development, and maintenance of the Karian Dam and its surrounding environment. It is hoped that the development plan can create a balanced and sustainable framework for all stakeholders involved in Banten Province.
