Tanjung Panto is a cape located in the Muara Village, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. Tanjung Panto serves as a tourist destination that there is a beach Binuangeun and a hub for various economic activities, including tourism, aquaculture, and fishing. Abrasion is one of the phenomena occurring due to the impact of wave energy on the coastline and the flow of sediment-carrying currents. To mitigate abrasion, several coastal protection structures, such as revetments, groins, and breakwaters, are available options. Based on field observations, the coastline in Muara Village, Lebak Regency, Banten Province, has experienced abrasion despite being protected by a cluster of coral reefs surrounding Tanjung Panto. This is primarily caused by wave breakage during low tide, leading to the impact of unbroken waves on Tanjung Panto. Following the analysis, it is recommended to implement a breakwater with a 1:3 slope using crushed rock as a three-layer design in the coastal management plan.References
